Sometimes you just need a friend to show you the way. Parker has been eating a variety of pureed foods, but the quantity has been pretty small. After watching his friend Oliver power through fruit and cereal yesterday, he must have decided it was the way to go. He ate a whole lot of oatmeal and applesauce for breakfast!

A Plea to the Tooth Fairy

Please make the pain go away. I got my first tooth today, and I can't really see doing this 25 more times.

4 Month Check Up

Parker had his 4 month check up and shots on Monday. He weighed in at 18 lbs 5 oz, and 27 1/2 inches long. That puts him in the 95th percentile for height and 90th for weight. I already knew he was a big boy, since he is outgrowing 9 month clothes!

He is sleeping on a pretty regular schedule now. He goes to bed around 8 pm, sleeps til 4 am, eats, then sleeps til 8 am. He only takes 2 shorts naps during the day, so I guess he is saving it all up for night time.

Since his zucchini adventure, he has added yams and avocado. The only one he really reacted to was the avocado. He LOVED it! A true California boy. We might have to get him some surfing lessons to go with that ;•)

3 and a half months old

I'm a Big Boy

Parker had his 2 month check-up. He weighs 14 lbs 14 oz and is 25 inches long. He also tried out his crib this week! He seemed to like it and slept in it for the first time last night.

2 Months Old

Parker is now 2 months old! He is holding his head up pretty well, although it bobs around a bit. He went on a nice little vacation to Aptos to celebrate Grandma and Pompa's 50th wedding anniversary with the family. He has been to the park, too, although it is not much fun yet. He also attended his first Stanford football game and tailgater!

6 and 6

Parker is 6 weeks old, and wearing 6 months clothes!! He just moved into size 2 diapers. BIG BOY!

And the smile goes to...

Parker's first non-gas related smile went to Cathy Russo today during lunch at the Apple cafeteria. No picture, but Mommy was there to see it in person. It was beautiful!

One Month Old!

Our little guy is 1 month old today! Parker went to the doctor today for a check-up. He now weighs a whopping 11 lbs 14 oz, and is 23" long. That puts him around the 90th percentile for both height and weight. Big boy!

We can't wait to see what next month brings!

First trip to the pool

Parker went to the pool yesterday. He is California surfer dude all the way!
